One of my new year’s resolutions for 2013 is to become a better game developer. My first step to make that was joining OneGameAMonth. It is a funny and extremely cool challenge where all participants should release 12 games in 2013.
Behind that brilliant idea is the amazing indie game developer Christer Kaitila (also known as @McFunkypants). As Christer said OneGameAMonth is all about having fun and developing personal skills. Working with such a tight schedule (plus all our regular job work), every participant has to learn to keep things simple, avoiding code bloat and feature creep. That is gold!
I really need to improve that. There is no better time and opportunity for this If you want to join the fun, head to OneGameAMonth and sign up. Don’t forget to follow @OneGameAMonth and join the Google+ community.
I will try to blog every week about OneGameAMonth, with tips, encourage/support messages and my progress. Go indie gamedevs, go!
I’m really proud and honoured that you have chosen to join us on this epic gamedev quest. I am confident that you are going to make some amazing things! The most important part is to stay motivated, and the best way is to encourage each other and post lots of updates, no matter how small. Thanks for spreading the news. Good luck and HAVE FUN!
Kind regards,
Christer Kaitila

Thanks for stopping by Christer! It’s all my pleasure to join OneGameAMonth
Thanks to your constant work and support, I am really motivated and I’m sure lots of developers out there feel the same.
You have been doing an outstanding job promoting, encouraging and motivating people. Congratulations! I will do my best to help as much developer as I can. Good luck for you too! I am having fun already, you bet it!
Cheers,
